Quadriderm cream is a combination of three generic medicines: Beclomethasone Topical, Clotrimazole TOPICAL and Neomycin Topical. It is a steroid medicine. It inhibits the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the swollen, skin red, and itchy after an infection or allergy. Clotrimazole TOPICAL is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by inhibiting them from forming their protective covering. Neomycin Topical is an antibiotic which destroys bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of essential proteins, needed by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
