I was prescribed Cabergoline for my pituitary adenoma about a year and a half ago by my endocrinologist. I started off taking 0.5 mg three times a week and my doctor lowered my dosage to two times a week after I mentioned how bad my side effects were. The medication definitely works because my prolactin level is lower when I take it like I'm supposed to, but the side effects are awful. My doctor just prescribed me something for the nausea to take with Cabergoline so hopefully that will help. I would definitely recommend taking the medication like you're supposed to though.

Pituitary tumor diagnosed at 19 yrs . Used bromacriptine for many years worst side effects ever. 33 years later happy on cabergoline thanks
